Maritzburg United have completed the signing of former Orlando Pirates defender Wayde Jooste on a free transfer.

The Port Elizabet born player had joined Pirates from Highlands Park in October 2020 but was released ahead of the current season.

However, he has now linked up with former Bucs co-head coach Fadlu David’s at the Team of Choice.

Jooste had also spent time training with SuperSport United before reuniting with his former coach.

The 31-year-old could make his competitive debut against TS Galaxy tomorrow.
