DStv Premiership log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns proved to be unstoppable yet again following a 2-0 win against Sekhukhune United at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday. 

It was a 14th straight win for Sundowns, a record no other PSL has achieved before. The match looked even going into the half time break with a 0-0 scoreline. 

SUPERIOR MAMELODI SUNDOWNS UNSTOPPABLE 

But the defending champions showed their superiority when they found the back of the net through Peter Shalulile five minutes into the second half.

It was his ninth goal of the season and he also stretched his lead in the top scoring charts. 

Inform youngster Cassius Mailula extended the lead for Masandawana with eight minutes remaining.

The Brazilians finished the match with 10-men after Marcelo Allende was shown a red card for a dangerous tackle on Victor Letsoalo. 

LEAD STRETCHED TO OVER 20 POINTS 

The lead takes Mamelodi Sundowns to 52 points after 20 matches. They are 22 points ahead of second placed Richards Bay although they have played three games more. Meanwhile, Sekhukhune United remain in position six with 24 points.
