It was a bad day in the office for Arthur Zwane as Kaizer Chiefs were beaten 3-2 by Lamontville Golden Arrows at New Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Chiefs started on a perfect note as Sfiso Hlanti put the Glamour Boys ahead with a great header from Keagan Dolly’s corner. Amakhosi also continued to search for a quick second goal following a Keagan Dolly’s chip that came off the post.
Abafana bes’thende gradually came back to the game with Ntsako Makhubela giving Chiefs defense. Kaizer Chiefs were punished as their defense switched with Makhubela banging an equalizer on the stroke of Half-time.
Chiefs started off on a high note in the second half as they took a lead through Mdu Tshabalala. Golden Arrows levelled the matters through Knox Mutizwa on the 69th minute of the game after a great work by Khumalo to set him up.
It was also Mutizwa again who broke Amakhosi hearts with a third goal to give Golden Arrows an away win. Kaizer Chiefs also remain fifth on the log standings with 28 points after 20 matches played.
ARTHUR ZWANE AND KAIZER CHIEFS LEFT FRUSTRATED
