The Nedbank Cup is back in action this week to wrap up the last round of 16 on Wednesday with Dondol welcoming AmaZulu at FNB stadium. The ABC Motsepe side were the first side to become a ‘David’ in the battle of David and Goliath when they defeated SuperSport United.

Their determination will be tested when they take on Usuthu side who beat Chippa in a League encounter on Sunday.  

NEDBANK CUP TIE VENUE CHANGE

The PSL announced on Tuesday that which was originally scheduled to be played at TUT will now take place at FNB. The venue change was necessitated by the student protest action at the TUT campus which began earlier this week.

On Friday, it will be a tough one as Sekhukhune United will be up against Cape Town Stars. City are experienced and very dangerous in front of the net in this type of competition.  

Meanwhile, Saturday will kick off with a KZN derby when Golden Arrows host Royal AM at Princess Magogo stadium. A lot will be at stake as both teams will be looking to advance to the next round. Also walk away with the bragging rights while at it.

In other fixtures, Chippa United will use this match against Mpheni Home Defenders to make up with their home supporters after losing to AmaZulu. The new Chilli Boys coach will do his best to not lose against a lower-division side.  

ORLANDO PIRATES WECLOME VFA IN ORLANDO

Orlando Pirates will take on Venda Football Academy at Orlando stadium, 20h00 SA time. The VFA defense will be dealing with a variety of difficulties as they try to contain one of PSL’s most problematic strikers. 

Furthermore, the final day will see the 2019 champions TS Galaxy take on Stellenbosch. Another enthralling encounter that will have the fans on edge of their seats. 

And Kaizer Chiefs will be hosting Casric Stars at Soccer City. Amakhosi continue to attempt to fulfil their season-long goal of winning a trophy.
