Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has named his 23-man squad for this month’s crucial 2023 CAF Afcon qualifiers against Liberia.
South Africa will meet Liberia at Orlando Stadium on 24 March and in Monrovia on 28 March. They need four points from the two games to be enough to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations Cup.

Morocco are top of the group with six points and are guaranteed top place with South Africa and Liberia vying for qualification via a second place.
“Everybody knows the importance of these games and supporters can lift you to a higher level if the stadium is full,” said Broos.
“This is what we need on the day. Let us hope that South Africans come and support us at the stadium [in great numbers].”
The South African senior men’s national team will go into camp in Johannesburg on Sunday 19 March 2023.
