The Nedbank Cup Quarterfinals matches will kick off on Saturday afternoon, with the cup competition drawing nearer to the final.

Dondol Stars will be hosting Orlando Pirates at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. Dondol Chairman officially hails from Bochum [150km away from Limpopo’s capital City]. So bringing the match to Polokwane came as no surprise.

Meanwhile, at Athlone Stadium the supporters will be on the edge of their seats throughout the much-anticipated thrilling encounter between Stellenbosch FC and Mamelodi Sundowns. Whenever these two sides meet, entertainment is expected, in their last fixture they played a 1-1 draw.

And unfortunately, the tie will have to be broken this time around as this is a cup game, and only one team can go through.

Wrapping things up on Sunday, Chippa United and Sekhukhune United have unfinished business to sort out when they meet at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. The Chilli Boys are currently under a lot of pressure, they will be looking to use this match as the fix to their problems.

However, Adibahlabe has had a good run in this contention, and they know what is at stake.

In the final match, Kaizer Chiefs will be traveling to Chatsworth Stadium. They face one of their most challenging rivals, Royal AM. The Soweto Giants are still on the search for silverware. Progressing to the semis would be just a step closer to achieving that.
