The date and venue for the Limpopo ABC Motsepe League playoffs have officially been confirmed. Mpheni Home Defenders and The Dolphins will take on each other after winning their respective streams.
Mpheni won stream A after accumulating 45 points from 16 matches. They toppled closest rivals Giyani Happy Boys who finished the league with 34 points.
Former Provincial champions Mikhado finished bottom of the log with 12 points and was subsequently relegated to the SAFA SAB League. Mikhado are joined by Musina United who finished second from the bottom.

This is due to the fact that both Black Leopards and Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, who are from Limpopo, are relegated from the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
In Stream B, The Dolphins finished the league with 34 points, a point more than their closest rivals City Motors. City Motors were the winner of the stream but finished second due to boardroom cases.
Phinnet FC finished bottom of the log and will be joined by PJ Stars as the two teams relegated to the SAB League.
DATE FOR ABC MOTSEPE LEAGUE PLAYOFFS SET
The playoffs will now take place at the Oscar Mpetha Stadium at the University of Limpopo on Sunday, 7 May. Kickoff for the match is at 15:00. The winner will go on to represent the province at the national playoffs set for KwaZulu Natal later this month.
The draw for the national playoffs is also set to be conducted in the upcoming week.
