TS Galaxy boss Tim Sukazi has emphatically denied that his DStv Premiership club is up for sale, despite reportedly facing a financial crisis.

The Rockets have been, of late, criticized by South African football lovers for poor managerial skills. More especially after visiting Europe countries to have friendly games.

Galaxy are among a few of Premier Soccer League (PSL) teams who have been criticized for not paying players. But the team’s management kept on protecting their reputation despite those unfavorable reports.

TIM SUKAZI REFUTES CLUB SALE RUMOURS

The club’s chairman, Sukazi has described as utter rubbish and nonsense, rumours and reports that the club has been sold.

“I have been asked the questions about the sale of our club on a few occasions in this week. Such that it is now become very important to state it categorically clear that the rumours that have been circulating are utter rubbish and nonsense. That would ordinarily not warrant any of our attention,” Sukazi said in a statement.

“They are pure malice that is aimed at destabilizing the good that is manifesting itself within our project. TS Galaxy has become a good alternative proposition to South African football since it came into prominence some few years ago.

“Our club has not been sold and will never be sold. There will never ever be any merit to the sale of our club at any point in time. If anything, it would be a complete let down to the South African football fraternity that has been inspired by our project. We remain committed to serving the game and our people to the best of our ability for many years to come.”

The Mpumalanga based club sit tenth in the league table. Two points behind sixth Stellenbosch who they will play in their final match. Both are fighting for the top eight spot.

All the DStv Premiership remaining matches will also be played on Saturday, 20 May 2023 at 15h00.
