The draw for the 2022/23 season ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs was conducted at the SAFA House in Houston on Monday, 29 May. The Playoffs will be held in Pietermaritzburg from 6-11 June 2023. Two finalists will also gain promotion to the Motsepe League Championship for the upcoming season.

The competition will also see three groups of round-robin stages compete for the title of ABC National Championships. The date for the semifinals has also been set for Friday, 9 June 2023 at Harry Gwala Stadium. The Final will also take place at the same venue on 11 June 2023.

The draw will see Gauteng Champions Dondol Stars drawn in group A alongside Umsinga United of KwaZulu Natal, and also a yet-to-be-confirmed club from the Free State.

Group B will also see coastal sides Amavarara FC from the Eastern Cape, Western Cape’s Young Bafana and Upington City from Northern Cape.

Group C will see Orbit College from North West draw alongside Mpumalanga’s Mlambo Royal Cubs and also Mpheni Home Defenders from Limpopo.
