Golden Arrows defender Sicelokuhle Hlatshwayo is not likely to leave the club to join Orlando Pirates in the coming winter transfer window, according to his agent.
The player’s representative, Sfiso Zwane has downplayed rumours linking his client with a move to Soweto, amid reported interest from PSL giants.
Rumours have been doing the rounds that Abafana Bes’thende player could join Jose Riveiro’s side comes the 2023/2024 DStv Premiership campaign.
SICELOKUHLE HLATSHWAYO STAYING PUT
When asked by LimSportsZone about rumours that Hlatshwayo could be a Buccaneer next season, Zwane replied: “Nothing from my side, I haven’t heard anything about it.”
Arrows’ Hlatshwayo’s future has come into the spotlight recently after his impressive performance in the past season.
The 29-year-old defender had penned a three-year deal with the KwaZulu-Natal outfit in November 2022. Hlatshwayo played 15 matches in all competitions since he joined the club.
ORLANDO PIRATES CONFIRMED SIGNINGS
Should the former Marumo Gallants center-back move to the Sea Robbers eventually happen, he will be the third addition to the club this year so far.
According to reports, Pirates have signed TS Galaxy goalkeeper Melusi Buthelezi last month, though the team has not confirmed anything as yet.
And as reported by IDiski Times last week, Pirates have completed the signing of Motsepe Foundation Championship side All Stars midfielder Siphelo Baloni.
