Malatji said that the promotion of young professionals within the club has become a central part of today’s talent management.

“These exciting youngsters feed into our vision of promoting youth, as part of the team’s long-term vision, which is always to give back to the community by nurturing young talent,” Malatji told the club’s media department.

Coach Truter, who guided Babina Noko to the 2023 Nedbank Cup finals, which they eventually lost 2-1 to Orlando Pirates, also had his say.

“Although these boys are hungry to don the Babina Noko jersey, we first need to patiently guide them. We also have to train them in order for themselves to gain confidence and belief,” Truter said, per the club’s statement.
