Kaizer Chiefs on Monday unveiled the new recruits to bolster their squad ahead of the 2023/24 PSL season. The club had already announced Botswana international Thatayaone Ditlhokwe in January. He was signed on a pre-contract from SuperSport United.
KAIZER CHIEFS WELCOME 6 NEW RECRUITS
Following the departure of defender Siyabonga Ngezana to Fotbal Club FCSB Amakhosi have acted swiftly and signed utility player Given Msimango from TS Galaxy. Amongst the players that were brought in is Mduduzi Mdantsane.
Mdantsane is also a Chiefs Youth Development Academy product who joins from Cape Town City.
VENEZUELAN INTERNATIONAL EXPECTED TO ARRIVE
Amakhosi have also confirmed the signing of Venezuelan international midfielder Daniel Castilo Garcia from Monagas SC on a two-year deal with a one-year option. Garcia is also expected to arrive in South Africa this week, according to the Club.
Pule Mmodi and Ranga Chivaviro also join Kaizer Chiefs from Lamontville Golden Arrows and Marumo Gallants respectively. They are tipped to make an immediate impact as both had great seasons with their former Clubs. Ranga scored 17 goals in the DStv Premiership and CAF Confederation Cup last season.
Amakhosi are looking to sign a few more players before the start of the new season.
