PSL Giants Kaizer Chiefs have touched down in Tanzania ahead of their much-anticipated friendly match against Young Africans SC. The high-profile friendly clash will take place at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium in Dar es Salaam on Saturday 22 July at 19:00.
A Kaizer Chiefs full-strength squad left O.R Tambo on Thursday at 10 pm flight to Tanzania and landed after midnight.

“With the league set to get underway in a fortnight’s time, we view this tour involving matches against quality opposition as a valuable opportunity to get the boys match-ready for the start of the season,” said Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr. Motaung Jr has also accompanied the squad on their travels.
AMAKHOSI TOUCH DOWN IN TANZANIA
After their clash against Yanga, Chiefs will also head to Botswana for a clash against Township Rollers. The clash will take place on Saturday, 29 July, at the national stadium at 3pm.
“We intend to hit the ground running in our opening fixture against Chippa and establish forward momentum from the word ‘go’,” added Motaung Jr.
Chiefs will return to South Africa for their first DStv Premiership match scheduled for 6 August at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
