Kaizer Chiefs forward Ashley Du Preez is still disappointed from the MTN8 elimination against rivals Mamelodi Sundowns. Amakhosi lost 3-2 on aggregate, after the 2-1 win in the second leg on Saturday afternoon.
But the former Stellenbosch player is determined to improve his game going forward.

When he was asked about improving in front of goals, Du Preez said: “I want to improve my game. I don’t want to repeat the chances I missed,” he told the club website.
“I have had a really good start to this season, but for a player like me who works so hard, when I get chances, I must be totally focused on improving my finishing. Sometimes, I feel I am trying so hard that when a chance comes I rush it, so I am working a lot on learning to be more composed.”

The Soweto giants will host Sekhukhune United in hopes of going back to winning ways after back-to-back defeats. Du Preez has indicated that they will not belittle the Limpopo side even though they need to get the three points.
“Sekhukhune are a tough team, they are physical and they can also play,” he stated.
“But from our side, coming off a setback, we can go into this game to get rid of our frustrations. We must go out there and get the three points.
“I will be determined to convert any chances that come my way. I think this is a game where we can show our will to win, our resilience, the hunger in the mentality of every player, and do the job.”
The two sides met on three occasions last season, with Kaizer Chiefs losing all the matches against Babina Noko.
