The PSL has confirmed that the 2023 Carling Knockout Final will take place at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday, 16 December. This was revealed during the semi-final draw in Randburg on Monday night.

With all the so-called big teams out, it will be interesting on which teams will make it to the last day. The four teams that have advanced to the last four are TS Galaxy, AmaZulu FC, Stellenbosch FC and Richards Bay. Galaxy will be looking to win their second domestic Cup after a shock Nedbank Cup win against Kaizer Chiefs in 2019 in Durban.

Of the remaining clubs, AmaZulu are the most experienced having won trophies previously. Stellies and Richards Bay will be looking to secure their first Cup final in their history.

Meanwhile, the PSL have announced that a moment of silence will be observed in honour of late AmaZulu striker Bonginkosi Ntuli in all their matches. Nkosi passed away on Sunday due to cancer-related illness.

“The Premier Soccer League (PSL) is shocked and saddened by the untimely passing of AmaZulu Football Club striker, Bonginkosi Ntuli.
The League sends heartfelt condolences to the Ntuli family, AmaZulu FC, and the football community at large. May his soul repose peacefully,” said the League in a statement.
