It was a rather tight affair as Kaizer Chiefs claimed all three points after beating Polokwane City 1-0 at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium, Limpopo on Saturday afternoon.
Both teams did not hold back as they battled out in the middle of the park. Kaizer Chiefs held most of the ball in the first 10 minutes of the first half however it was the home side who showed their intentions as they tested Bruce Bvuma from long ranges through Appollis and Mapfumo respectively.

The visitors continued to hold the ball 20 minutes into the game however they only managed to do that in their own half. Both teams tried to produce some magic half-hour mark however it wasn’t to be as other teams went to Half-time still goalless draw.
Kaizer Chiefs resumed the second half on a brighter side and they found the back of the net through Pule Mmodi in the 51st minute of the second half after collecting the ball on the left side and driving the ball on the edge of Polokwane City’s defense before unleashing a powerful right footed shot which beat Manuel Sapunga at his near post.
