Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has named his 23-man squad to Uganda and South Sudan in the AFCON qualifiers. The AFCON will be hosted in Morocco from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026. South Africa finds themselves in Group K alongside South Sudan, Uganda and Congo.

The announcement took place at the SABC television studios in Auckland Park on Thursday. Bafana will host Uganda on Friday, 6 September at Orlando Stadium. They will travel to Juba to take on South Sudan on Tuesday, 10 September.
