Former Baroka FC defender Basil Mphahlele has joined the DStv Premiership side, Stellenbosch FC. The club announced on Friday.

The Ga-Mphahlele-born right-back was linked to various clubs last season. This is despite him playing only one match in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Mphahlele made 44 appearances for Baroka throughout his professional PSL career with only one assist since his debut in the 2020/2021 season.
