The Bafana Bafana midfielder was a notable absentee when Galaxy unveiled their new signings and the squad for the 2023/24 season.
He had an excellent campaign for Galaxy, where he spent five seasons, the last three of which have been in the PSL top tier.
He has also played for the now-defunct Free State Stars.
BATHUSI AUBASS MOVE TO MAMELODI SUNDOWNS
“What attracted me to Sundowns is that they have a winning mentality,” he said.
“One thing I want to achieve here in the club, I want to win a lot of titles. I’m not here to relax, I’m here to work, and I’m here to learn.”
Aubaas was handed his Bafana Bafana debut in the 2-1 CAF Africa Cup of Nations victory over Morocco.
He joins the likes of Thapelo Maseko [SuperSport United], Junior Mendieta [Stellenbosch], Lesiba Nku [Marumo Gallants] and Lucas Ribeiro [Beveren, Belgium] who have joined the club.
