KwaZulu-Natal Natal side Royal AM have reappointed John Maduka as the head coach. Maduka returns to the DStv Premiership club after a short but unsuccessful stint at Maritzburg United.

JOHN MADUKA AND ROYAL AM REUNITE

He left Royal AM in June last year to take the head coach role at the Team of Choice.

His resignation at AM came as a big surprise after having led the team to a CAF Confederation Cup spot last season. The club appointed Dan Malesela, Khabo Zondo and Abram Nteo as co-coaches.

But both Malesela and Zondo left for different reasons leaving Nteo as the only coach.

When asked if he anticipated coaching changes after their match against Kaizer Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday, Nteo said he did not anticipate any changes.

NTEO PLEASED WITH TECHNICAL TEAM SET-UP

“We are still going to work together with the current technical team,” he told the media.

“However, unless something comes up unexpectedly. But for now, we are going to work with the same technical team,” added Maduka.

“The technical team has been working hard for the betterment of the team,” he added.

“We don’t have any issues, and we will continue with the same technical team that we have right now.”
