Zambian giants Zesco United have completed the signing of former Stellenbosch midfielder Nathan Sinkala on a one-and-half year deal.
The 2012 CAF African Cup of Nation’s winner will feature for the club until the end of the 2023/24 season.
NATHAN SINKALA JOINS ZESCO UNITED
Sinkala joins Zesco barely a month after signing a short-term deal with Israeli second tier side Sport Club Kfar Kasem.
He has been keeping fit with Zambian Super League side Green Buffaloes after he was released by the Israeli side.
DEEMED SURPLUS TO REQUIREMENTS AT STELLENBOSCH
Stellenbosch parted ways with Sinkala after his two and half year’s contract was not renewed at the end of 2021/2022 campaign.
The 32-year-old has also featured in the French and Swiss top flight with Sochaux and Grasshopper. He has also played for TP Mazembe in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The experienced midfielder has won multiple club titles with DRC giants including CAF Champions League and back to back Confederation Cup.
